“To embrace you one more time“

After the devastating earthquake struck Turkey in 2022, Bülent felt compelled to create a film about his home country. Driven by urgency, he quickly assembled a crew, and together we flew to Turkey to begin the project. With little time for preparation, the production was truly a run-and-gun experience, testing our adaptability and resilience. Despite the challenges, the journey taught us profound lessons about life, the fragility of the world, and the art of filmmaking under difficult circumstances. The resulting film powerfully exposes the deep, unhealed wounds within society—wounds laid bare by the tragedy of the earthquake.
